Privacy Policy
LitScenes is built for private creative work. We do not sell personal data, run advertising, request your email through Sign in with Apple, or use third-party behavioral analytics.
What stays on your device
You can browse the bundled style library without an account or network connection. Your unselected photo library is not uploaded. LitScenes receives only the video you explicitly choose when you press GO, plus the selected style and optional direction you provide.
What we process
- Account: a one-way hash of your Sign in with Apple subject identifier, session tokens, terms-acceptance version, and account status. We do not request your Apple name or email.
- Purchases: App Store transaction identifiers, product, environment, and credit-ledger entries needed to grant credits once and prevent replay.
- Creative inputs: your selected video, selected style metadata, optional note, source duration, and operational job records.
- Service data: request identifiers, status, timing, provider/model identifiers, errors, and output references needed to run and support the service. We do not intentionally log secrets or raw personal information.
Why we process it
We use this data only to authenticate you, maintain your credit balance, perform the restyle you request, deliver the result, prevent fraud or duplicate charges, recover interrupted work, and respond to support needs.
Service providers and retention
LitScenes uses Amazon Web Services for API, database, and temporary object storage, Apple for authentication and in-app purchases, and FAL to execute the Decart Lucy video-restyle model. A short-lived signed link lets the model retrieve the selected video. Uploads are configured for automatic expiration within 24 hours; provider input/output storage requests a one-hour lifecycle where supported. Operational and purchase records remain while your account exists because they maintain the credit ledger and prevent duplicate grants.
Account deletion
Open Settings in the app, choose Delete Account, and confirm with the same Apple account. This deletes the account, bearer sessions, credit ledger, job history, purchase records, and stored LitScenes media. A non-reversible hash of each redeemed transaction is retained without a user link solely to prevent the same consumable purchase from being redeemed again.
Your choices
You may browse without signing in, omit the optional creative note, avoid uploading a video, sign out, or delete your account in the app. You can also contact us to ask about your data.
Children and geography
LitScenes is not directed to children under 13. The initial service is offered in the United States.
